Day XXV
Last Sunday, my aunt Karen and I along with her friend Pat went to San Marcos to see the Peanuts movie. The movie was very funny and cute. It brought a lot of memories of watching the old Charlie Brown movies used to watch as a kid. And my favorite character of the Peanuts gang is none other than Snoopy.

Ukraine Invasion
I can't believe that Russia has invaded Ukraine. Putin has lost his mind, invading its neighbor without just cause? Seriously! If things continues to get worst, Biden and NATO may have no other choice but to force Russia out of Ukraine. My heart goes out to the people of Ukraine. I hope Ukraine continues to have its independence and that Putin gets voted out of office in Moscow.
Pearl Harbor 1941-2021
It is the 80th Anniversary of the infamous surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. On the early morning of Dec 7th, 1941, the Imperial Japanese Fleet sent a fleet of six aircraft carriers of the Kido Butai led by Admiral Nagumo launch a massive naval air strike on the US Pacific Fleet base of Pearl harbor Hawaii. By the end of the morning, the Japanese sank six ships, damaged 13 other vessels, and destroyed 155 planes on the ground. Over 2000 sailors, officers, soldiers, airmen and marines were killed. Many were killed on the battleship USS Arizona. Most of the ships were lost and damaged were at Battleship Row. This attack prompted the US to enter World War II, and in the mind of Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto; the architect of the Pearl Harbor attack, 'Japan had awakened a sleeping giant.' RIP to all the men who lost their lives on Dec 7th 1941. And to this day, Arizona continues to weep out her tears of oil from her hull. A solemn reminder of the tragedies of that fateful day.
36 Years and Still Going
Today is my Birthday and I'm 36 years old.
Farewell
Today my aunt Karen has left California for the last time. She has moved to Maine. After living with her here for 12 good and happy years, with her living under my roof she's now moving back to New England.
